The Hifi Club & Set it Off are proud to present: Mndsgn w/ DJ Pump, Dj C-sik, Ivan Rankic & Beni J.
Mndsgn is pronounced mind design. The law calls him Ringgo.
Ringgo Ancheta is an anomaly among hip-hop producers - not raised in the suburbs on a steady diet of video games and hip-hop, but in the forest like a beast. His parents were members of the Philippine arm of the Aum Supreme Truth Cult, whose venture into terrorist activity caused them to flee the group in the late 1980s. They were granted political asylum in the U.S. and settled in rural New Jersey, where Ancheta was raised on the outskirts of a commune without electricity while his father worked as a researcher at Princeton Neuroscience Institute.

The Hifi Club & Substation are proud to present: Moon Boots w/ Sonny Chiba & Rusty Meeks
Moon Boots entered the world in the mid-1980s via Cape Canaveral. After years of service as the preferred footwear of celebrity astronauts (notably Tom Hanks), Moon Boots came to life during a classified experiment aboard the International Space Station. Little is known of what actually transpired aboard the shuttle, but in short, Moon Boots became a sentient creature, equipped with reason, intuition, and groove. Before long, he grew tired of working for the space-military-industrial complex and found solace in the soothing sounds of underground disco and R&B boogie records. He knew it was only of matter of time before he was hung up like so many boots before him. He abandoned the program and used his savings to build a studio in an unnamed location, where he is currently working.
With his roots as a pioneering producer and dj of American underground bass music, Dean Grenier continues his musical evolution into new techno-infused architectural landscapes.
